Spatial texturing
This piece is structured around an acoustic exploration within a spatial context, with its main feature being the progression of imperfect repetitions. These imperfect repetitions create unpredictable musical interactions and events, intertwining the sounds that have occurred with those that are generated. Sounds introduced in the early parts of the music are continuously recycled and expanded, leading to a composition in the latter parts where many musical elements are inverted to form a completely different structure.
The title "Spatial Texturing" is another term for Temporal Repetition. This is because creating patterns and textures with sound in a single space necessitates temporal repetition. The overall patterned musical aspects are not identical or similar to each other, but they influence each other or derive from a defined "Musical Family."
This "Musical Family" forms a close relationship from the beginning to the end of the piece. The imperfect repetitions presented throughout the music are not replicated exactly, but due to the characteristics of the "Musical Family," listeners may be under the illusion that they are hearing something similar.
